If you ask anyone currently involved in Motorsports at any level how they first got started they will reply, pretty much to a person, that this was something they always wanted to do for as far back as they can remember. Of course a strong desire to go racing is pretty much a pre-requisite. It’s entirely too much time, effort and expense to take on in the face of any meaningful ambivalence.
The path into racing, for the uninitiated, can seem pretty daunting. In an attempt to demystify and clarify some of this confusion I offer this somewhat simplified guide to the person considering such an undertaking.
